Rosina is not going in on Tuesday the 19, but on MONDAY, June 25th. We were pushing to Friday, but that's not a good day to go in because of hospital logistics, so it was decided that Monday would be better. Dr. Dunhill said that her blood counts are fairly stable so she doesn't have to rush in.
We did however get some results from last week's bone marrow biopsy, and the percentage of "blasts" has gone up. Blasts or Myeloblasts are white blood cells and in this case, they are immature white blood cells that are not progressing to full maturity. They do not take on the protective properties of healthy blood cells, mainly, becoming your immune system, and they also crowd out the healthy mature white blood cells. This is the process that you treat with chemotherapy.
We heard this right about the moment we started quietly thinking - is this really happening? Yes, it is. Considering all, Rosina is in good spirits, has had many meaningful conversations, and she looks great with her "I own a gallery in Soho" hair. - ph

We called them rainy days here in CA where we never had a "snow" day. The flowers were planted and Rosina's Wall of Fragrance is growing as I write.

Well, now that I finally figured out who "Pedro" is, I will say that tomorrow I will go with my two sons to get a beautiful plant that we shall care for every day. That plant will be named Rosina, and we shall watch it thrive and grow strong and sure. There may be some challenging days, but our plant Rosina shall rise to the occasion and sing most triumphantly!
